GRACE WOVEN WITH VENGEANCE

The heavy oak doors of the courtroom swung open and silence fell like a shroud

*AADHIRA MALHOTRA *entered- A storm wrapped in silk .....

She was the kind of a woman the world was warned about but never ready for.....dresses up in a crisp black suit that fit her like second skin , she looked every inch the powerful attorney she was- calm , composed and absolutely lethal..

Har heels clicked sharply against the marble floor and steps measured ,each glance calculated

She did not rush......

Power didn't need to shout ..

It whispered - and she was it's favourite voice...

With hair pulled back in to a sleek knot, exposing the sharp lines of her face , and eyes like twin blade of cold silver , She exuded a confidence that unsettled even then most seasoned man .

Her beauty was undeniable - but it was her mind that was dangerous

Sharp , analytical , merciless

Aadhira had built herself from ashes born into a world where weakness was punished ,she had carved her way through blood , betrayal and ambition

She knew the law inside out-but she also know what to blend it , when to break it and when to make it her own weapon ...

The courtroom buzzed with low murmurs ask the opposing lawyers, a broad - shouldered man with years of experience , rose to his feet a smug smile tugging at his lips

Everyone thought today would be the day Aadhira Malhotra finally stumbled..

She stood up slowly , gathering the thin file from her desk-with an almost lazy grace . The moment she rose ,the air shifted- a chilling silence rippling through the room

Her heels clicked once against the polished floor as she approached the witness stand papers balanced neatly in one hand, eyes locked onto the trembling man on the stand

"Mr Kapoor" her voice was velvet-soft, lethal , calculated "You swore under oath that you were at the construction site at 8:00 p.m. the night of the accident, didn't you?!"

The witnesses nodded hastily , clearing his throat "Yes ,I was "

Her lips curved , slow and dangerous as she slipped a photograph onto the evidence table - a crystal clear security footage timestamped exactly 8:05 p.m. at a bar miles away from the site.

Gasps echoed ound the room..

The opposing lawyer scrumbled the object, but Aadhira was faster- sliding the second piece of evidence forward , a signed recipt- from the bar , with Kapoor's signature bold and undeniable.

"You lied under the oath Mr Kapoor" she said voice never rising , but dripping with finality. "You prejured yourself to protect a company that does not even care Enough to cover your tracks properly"

The judge's gavel stammed down , The witness was dismissed- case crumbling like ash around them

Aadhira turne, locking eyes with the opposing counsel for just a second- and in that moment, without a word , she demolished him

No shouting ..

No dramatics..

Just brutal. Undenewable precision . As she walked back to her seat ,  the faintest smile curved her lips -

Because Aadhira Malhotra did not need to raise her voice to be dangerous. She just needed the truth , sharpened into a blade

The heavy courtroom doors shut behind her with a loud thud , and Aadhira let out a breath she didn't realise she was holding.

Before she could gather her thoughts a flash of pink barreled into her

"Hira"squealed a voice full of sunshine.SIDYA-her bestfriend , her chaos  , her anchor . threw herself on Aadhira nearly knocking the fists down her hand. For a split second AADHIRA'S cold mask ,cracked and a genuine laugh -light  , musical, rare escaped her lips

"You did it again, Queen!!"Sidya beamed up at her , eyes sparkling

"You made that idiot lawyer look like a confused chicken, seriously I almost clapped in the court"

She rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the warmth in her gaze

"Pfft,It will be worth it " Sidya said , linking their arms like they were still teenagers sneaking out of a boarding school "Come on ,You need sugar ,Victory deserves sugar !!"

Aadhira shook her head in mock exasperation but led Sidya drag her down the hallway. With her she didn't have to be a ruthless lawyer or the calculating

With Sidya, she could just be ...

The heavy oak doors slammed open as Aashvik stalked into the meeting room of his estate, his black coat trailing behind him like a storm cloud

Kushan and two of his senior men were already waiting, their faces pale with tension

Aaashvik didn't sit....

He stood at the head of the table , arms crossed, his dark eyes cold and expectant

Kushan cleared his throat "Boss" he began" this morning, a court order seized the Singhania's Corporation ,  primary assets -including the offshore accounts, main headquarters and the shipping lines"

Aaashvik s gaze sharpened into something.....lethal

"Who??!" he asked-one word,deathly soft.

Kushan gazed at the others ,then continued "The case was filed by a lawyer named-Aadhira Malhotra "

The room seemed to tighten, the air itself thickened

Aashvik s hand twitched - a barely noticeable movement - but the man knew him best recognised it

A Warning . ...

"She's representing an anonymous party" he added "officially she's clean  , No direct attacks , no accusations,She made it look like a matter of public interest"

Aashvik  let out a short , humourless laugh a sound so empty it sent a chill down even Kushan's spine .

"A woman" Aashvik said slowly, almost thoughtfully...

He rolled the name on his tongue like tasting a venom*Aadhira Malhotra*

He stepped forward, planting his alms flat on the table , leaning in

"Find me everything" he said his voice quiet but seething  "Her blood type, her breath, her goddamm heartbeat's

And Aashvik straightened , pulling his coat back over his broad shoulders , dark satisfaction gleaming in his eyes

"She thinks she knows the war" he murmured to himself" She hasn't even seen the battfield yet"

The room emptied , the sound of hurried steps dying into the silence .

Only Aashvik remained ..

He poured himself a glass of whisky form the decanter by the window , the amber liquid catching the muted afternoon light ,

Outside the sky was heavy.promising a storms

He stood there staring out over the vast ground of his estate , the glass resting loosely in his hands.

His mind wasn't on the property ,

It wasn't on the assets ,or the many .

It was on her ......

Aadhira Malhotra.....

A woman he has never met -and yet she had dared to move her pieces across his Empire as if he was a pawn

His lips curved into a slow, brutal smirk.Innocence was a beautiful thing .Until it was dragged through the mud ..

He sipped the whiskey,the

burn sliding down his throat like a promise .

"Let's see how long you last"  he murmured against the rim of the glass "Liittle lawyer "
